Del Mar Show News
The Crossroads of the West Gun Show had a victory on Monday in the federal court case against the Del Mar Fair Board. Last year the Del Mar Fair Board of Directors placed a moratorium on gun shows at the venue which effectively banned gun shows while they “study” the need for more safety and security at a show with 30 plus years of compliance at the venue. The judge on Monday basically told the Del Mar Fair Board that they must bring more evidence of a government interest if they are going to stop lawful speech at the venue. The judge also instituted a preliminary injunction on the moratorium which lifts the ban and allows Crossroads of the West to request dates.
We are currently exploring the option for future dates at the venue. Because this is still ongoing litigation and there are still complications with this process, we ask that you all be patient with us while we look at the possibility of securing dates in the future.
